Common use of Sumycin (Tetracycline)
Sumycin is an antibiotic attributed to tetracycline class which act preventing bacterial protein synthesis. pulmonary infections (Hemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniaeurinary), tract infections, acne, chlamydia, Rocky mountain spotted fever, typhus, chancroid, cholera, brucellosis, anthrax, gonorrhea, and syphilis.

Dosage and directions
Take exactly as prescribed and do not take this medication if it was not administered to you by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water on an empty stomach at least two hours before or after a meal. Avoid drinking dairy products with your your Sumycin intake. If your Sumycin is a suspension shake it before use and measure with a special spoon. Due to suppression of intestinal micro-flora growth dosage of indirect anticoagulant should be diminished. Effect of bactericidal antibiotics such as penicillins and cephalosporines affecting cell wall formation is also depressed by Sumycin.

Missed dose
If you missed a dose take it as soon as you remember. If it almost time of your next dose just skip it and return to your regular schedule. Never double dose this medication.

Overdose
